Priority areas

Sectors in which Bosnia and Herzegovina can create greater value

We assess sectors by demonstrable market potential, business sustainability and the conditions for high-quality international cooperation. We also consider other well-prepared opportunities that meet our criteria.

A sector opens the door; the quality of preparation determines whether an opportunity can pass through it.

How we set priorities

A sector provides context; the quality of the project decides

We do not promise a closed catalogue in advance. The same standard applies to priority sectors and to other seriously prepared opportunities.

Demonstrable need

The project must solve a real problem for a customer, production system, infrastructure asset or market chain.

An advantage rooted in BiH

We seek a resource, capability, location or relationship that gives the project a credible basis in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

A route to market

The proposed value needs a realistic route to customers, distribution, export or long-term business use.

Long-term benefit

We favour models able to sustain operations, develop people and strengthen the local economy without permanent dependency.
